June 6th, 2006 was the last day of my current school year and entire Brookfield Academy, Troy, MI went for a trip to the Detroit Zoo. Teachers, kids and parents were all there and had lunch at the zoo. It was a great way to end the school year.

We reached the Detroit Zoo at around 11:30 am. It was a very bright and sunny day, ideal for a trip to the Zoo. We had lunch with other parents and teachers in the open and played around a little.

Then we started our trip of the Zoo animals and saw Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Peacock, Polar Bear, Kangaroo etc.

We had icecream and then we came back home. The trip was over but that meant my summer vacations started
