The ceremony was held at the Rainbow Drive Club house next to the Wipro Campus in Sarjapur.

It was so much fun, initially I was hesitant about dance lessons (having never done it before) but soon enough was convinced to go through the practice session. What made it more fun was that my friends were also participating.

Parking was not the expensive and we parked right on Hollywood Blvd. (though later we realized that we could have parked for less money at lot of other places).

After having my blueberry muffin, we started our stroll on Hollywood Blvd.

There were lot of villains and superheroes on the street and for a dollar each, you could get snaps with them. We parted with few dollars to get our pictures with: batman, superman, wonderwoman, darth vedar, and my favorite Chucky.

Lajolla shores was a beautiful place. I saw lot of birds and shells. The waves were very high and my shoes got all wet in the ocean water. Pacific beach was a very big beach and we spent around an hour running around on the beach and taking pictures. There were not many people around at this time of the year as it was not that warm.

Seaport Village is a nice little village with lot of restaurants and nice view of the ocean. We ate mexican food and strolled around the ocean shore.

The match was a thriller with both teams playing some good soccer. We trailed 1-0 till the second quarter but then we scored in the third to level it at 1-1. West Bloomfield scored in the last quarter to make it 2-1. In the last five minutes of the game, we (Troy) scored again to level the score 2-2. I played in the 2nd and the 3rd quarter and helped make two solid moves, one of which resulted in a goal for us.

Tug of War

The party started on a damp note as it was raining heavily since morning but as soon as we reached the venue, the rain stopped. Even though it was cold, the kids and adults all had loads of fun.

I played passing-the-ball, tug-of-war and musical chair games. It was so much fun. I got tons of cool stuff: calculator, a kite, a notebook, crayons and markers. We also won a prize in bingo and my dad won the musical chair contest (he got a cd wallet which he gave to me).

We all ate lots of good asian food (mostly vegetarian) and had a very good time. I am in Blue jacked with red borders playing tug of war game (My team won all three rounds!)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The book was very entertaining. It took me a long time to finish it but that was mostly because of my busy swimming schedule.

I have already started working on my third book: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

We reached the Detroit Zoo at around 11:30 am. It was a very bright and sunny day, ideal for a trip to the Zoo. We had lunch with other parents and teachers in the open and played around a little.

Then we started our trip of the Zoo animals and saw Lions, Tigers, Monkeys, Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Peacock, Polar Bear, Kangaroo etc.

We had icecream and then we came back home. The trip was over but that meant my summer vacations started
